Crab Imperial With Taste

 

 

 Ingredients:

 

  • 1 pound crab meat 
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise 
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice 
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning 
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt 
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper 
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard 
  • 1 egg, beaten 
  • 1/4 cup fresh bread crumbs 
  • 1 teaspoon paprika 
  • 3 tablespoons butter 

  

Preparation:

 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F or 200 degrees C.  
  2. Mix altogether the crab meat, dry mustard, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, Old Bay Seasoning, salt, cayenne pepper, and the beaten egg. Use a medium sized bowl. Make sure to blend all the ingredients together.  
  3. Using an 8” pie dish, spread the mixture evenly. And on top, sprinkle some bread crumbs just enough to cover the entire dish.  
  4. Then also add some paprika on the top.   
  5. Add some butter on the dish.  
  6. Then let it bake in the pre heated oven for about 20 minutes.   

This is a dish ideal for much seafood. You can add some scallops and shrimp to jazz it up a bit.
