Crab Quiche I

 

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 1/2 cup of mayonnaise 
  • 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour 
  • 2 eggs, beaten 
  • 1/2 cup of milk 
  • 1 cup of crab meat 
  • 1 cup of diced Swiss cheese 
  • 1/2 cup of chopped green onions 
  • 1 unbaked pie crust, 9 inches 

  

Preparation:

 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C.  
  2.  Gather the eggs, mayonnaise, flour, and milk. Use a medium sized bowl and beat all these ingredients together. Continue beating until they are completely blended.  
  3. Then add the crab, cheese, and onion. Continue stirring to incorporate.  
  4. Spoon and spread the mixture onto the pie crust.  
  5. Place it in the pre heated oven for 40 to 45 minutes. To check if it is done, insert a knife, and if it comes out clean, then it is ready. 

This is a delicious crab recipe that can be done in an hour. And it only takes 10 minutes to prepare. It is a light dish perfect for brunch or an early dinner. This makes 8 servings suitable for an intimate gathering.
