Crab Rangoon

 

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 1 clove garlic, minced 
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese 
  • 1 (6 ounce) can crab meat, drained and flaked 
  • 2 green onions with tops, thinly sliced 
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce 
  • 1/2 teaspoon light soy sauce 
  • 48 wonton wrappers 

  

Preparation:

 

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F or 220 degrees C.  
  2. Take out the baking sheet and lightly add some cooking spray.   
  3. In a different container, mix altogether the garlic, cream cheese, crab, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce.   
  4. You should only prepare 1 to 2 rangoon at a time, so that the wonton skins will not dry. Then you place 1 teaspoon of the mixture which is now the filling at the center of each wonton skin.   
  5. Seal the edges diagonally using some moisture. Press lightly and put some moist on one of the bottom corners.   
  6. You can make the crown formation by having both bottom corners sealed together.   
  7. Place them on the baking sheet and add a bit of cooking spray.   
  8. Place it in the oven for 12 to 15minutes. 

This is perfect for a light dinner with an Asian touch.
