Ingredients:
- 2 packages or 8 ounces of
softened cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon of lemon
juice
- 1 teaspoon of hot pepper
sauce
- 2 finely chopped green
onions
- 1 can or 6 ounces of drained
and flaked crab meat
- 1 jar or 8 ounces of cocktail
sauce
Preparation:
- Combine the cream cheese, lemon
juice and hot pepper sauce. Use a medium sized bowl and blend evenly.
- Add the green onions and crab
meat. Stir them in the mixture carefully not to completely mash the crab
meat.
- And then chill it in the
refrigerator for at least 1 hour before it would be served. It is best if you cover the
bowl before placing it in the refrigerator to keep its
flavor.
- And when it is brought out to
be served, pour the cocktail sauce on top.
This recipe is so easy and will
be perfect for any dinner parties. It is creamy and can be served with crackers, bread, or
even vegetables. You also have the option to choose shrimp instead of crab. This recipe makes
24 servings.
