Crab Legs How To Cook

Low Country Crab Boil 

 

 Ingredients:

 

  • Old Bay Seasoning to taste 
  • 5 pounds of peeled and largely diced potatoes 
  • 3 packages of cooked kielbasa sausage or 16 ounces (cut into 1 inch pieces) 
  • 8 ears fresh corn with husks and silks removed 
  • 5 pounds whole crab that have already been broken into pieces 
  • 4 pounds of peeled and de-veined fresh shrimp 
  • newspapers 
  • beer 

  

Preparation:

 

  1. Using an outdoor cooker, heat up a large pot of water. If you prefer indoor cooking, use only medium high hear for your cooker.  
  2. Add Old Bay Seasoning depending on your preference of taste.  
  3. Wait for the water to boil.   
  4. Add the potatoes and sausages and let it cook for 10 minutes.   
  5. Then add the corn and crab and let it cook for 5 minutes.  
  6. You can now add the shrimp and let it stand for another 3 minutes.  
  7. And lastly, drain the water and set the cooked food on top of a newspaper.  

  

This recipe goes perfectly along with beer. It’s also an easy recipe for an outdoor picnic.
