Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup
butter
- 1/3 cup all-purpose
flour
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay
Seasoning
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire
sauce
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can chicken
broth
- 1 cup dry white
wine
- 1 cup half-and-half
cream
- 1 (2.5 ounce) package country
style gravy mix
- 8 ounces crab
meat
- 4 drops hot
sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon
salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black
pepper
Preparation:
- Using low heat, melt the half
cup of butter in a saucepan.
- Add the flour all together and
then stir immediately. Cook until the mixture becomes bubbly.
- Add and stir Old Bay seasoning
and Worcestershire sauce.
- Slowly add and stir the chicken
broth, wine, and half-and-half. Don’t pour everything
altogether.
- As for the gravy, just follow
the package directions. And then add into the soup. Add more half-and-half only if
necessary. Let it simmer for 10 minutes and stir from time to
time.
- Add the crab meat and stir. Add
seasoning with hot sauce, salt, and pepper and let it simmer for 2 more
minutes.
